This is a personal information site run by Ryota Endo. It is not an official page for the museum or any production company. There is no partnership, sponsorship, or permission. What you read here is an independent unofficial review based on my own visits. Check opening days, prices, and reservations yourself on the official site name “ghibli-museum.jp”. This site does not send you there.

Personal PDF notes and optional donations

The articles on this site are free. The PDF is the same checklist, made to print and carry.

Mitaka forest visiting notes (PDF)

Optional donation, about ¥800

Eighteen pages, more or less, pulled from the public article: station forks, how I use each time slot, where I stop in the woods, what I pack in rain or heat. There is no hidden information. It is the checklist I actually carried. It is not a Ghibli-museum document and it is not licensed.

  • Walking order from Mitaka and from Kichijoji
  • What I do first at 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00
  • A fork for visiting with children versus visiting alone
  • A packing list for rain and for July
  • A line to confirm the official site name (no link)

Delivery is by email only. There is no checkout cart. Use the buttons below, choose “I want the PDF notes” or “Donation,” and tell me the address I should write to, plus whether you intend to donate (yes / no / a yen amount). I will answer with a payment method. I use bank transfer or another ordinary domestic method. I do not take reservations and I do not sell tickets.

This site is a hobby

I, Ryota Endo, run these pages in my spare time. There are no ad slots. Hosting and the hours of writing are covered by optional donations and by the PDF notes when someone wants them. This is not a business whose “only income” is a secret guide. You can read every public page without paying. You may ask for the PDF and still decline to donate. In that case I send the file when I can. People who help with costs go first. I do not sell tickets, book slots, or resell official goods.
